Paying Rent & Service Charges
Your rent is our major source of income. It is used to repay the mortgage on your home and to cover the cost of its management and maintenance. Money is also set aside to cover the cost of future major repairs and improvements. How much you pay is based on the area you live in and the size and type of property. We increase rents once a year: it is our policy to keep rents as affordable as possible.
We provide services to some of our properties that are not included in the rent. This mainly applies to properties which receive grounds maintenance or cleaning of communal areas. The amount charged each year is based on the cost of providing the service.
It is your responsibility to pay your rent, or make sure that it is being paid by Housing Benefit. We send rent statements every three months for you to check. You can get an up to date balance of your rent account by contacting our Head Office on 029 2067 5800 during office hours.
