Hafod Housing Association Ltd was established in 1968. We are a non-profit making social landlord registered with the Welsh Assembly Government and administered by a voluntary board. The Association is registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965 under "charitable" rules and is accepted as a charity for tax purposes.

We became a member of the Hendre Group in 2002 and we are a founding member of the DEVCO development consortium. We are also a member of Community Housing Cymru and Business in Community.

Hafod achieved Investor in People status in 2000 and in 2006 we became the first housing association (and only the third company in Wales) to be accredited with the prestigious Community Mark.
